School Meals

We believe that lunchtime should be the highlight of the day for everyone at Suffolks Primary School.

We want to help children gain a real appreciation for good quality food, where it comes from, how it’s produced and why healthy food is important.

School meals are provided by Stir Food.  They are passionate about providing fresh, local and seasonal food to schools; improving the school meals service and making lunchtime an integral part of the whole school experience. They endeavour to provide dishes that are not only popular with students but will also comply with healthy eating standards and guidelines and encourage an inviting dining experience, whilst making food fun.

Together we offer children a wonderful choice of hot food, fresh vegetables, freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, jacket potatoes… there really is something for everyone.

All meals are cooked from fresh ingredients every day, sourced locally (where possible), and prepared on-site.

If your child has a food allergy, they can offer a special menu catered for your child's specific dietary requirements.

School meals must be booked by parents on the SwiftKitchen app.

Over the course of the academic year we provide an array of themed days, activities, cookery classes, workshops and events – these are advertised around the school and on the website.

We would really love to invite parents, grandparents and carers to come and dine with our children and experience first-hand the amazing food. Just let us know when you would like to come in. We look forward to sharing with you.

All pupils in primary school receive a school meal at no cost to the parents or guardians. School meals at Suffolks are healthy, tasty, social and fun.
