Enfield Primary School Basketball 3 on 3 Tournament held at Bishops School. 

Team A came 1st place with all wins, their scores are below!

Both teams did exceptionally well! They even played each other in the Semi-finals!

Our Y5 had a great afternoon at the Lea Valley Centre. The events were running, throwing and jumping. It was quite a tough afternoon, but all put on brave faces and rallied through the events. We admire your courage and commitment, to not giving up as the 600m was a very tough event, but you persistents paid off. A massive well done to you all, Havva, Havin, Elif, Samiyah, Laila, Jesse, Eddie, Mehmet, Emre and Melvelle.   


We took our Tennis team along to Hazelwood Tennis Club in Enfield. They played mini games against other schools and worked on a point system. They were amazing and played their very best, with the eagle eye of Michael encouraging them thoughout the afternoon. It paid off because we came 2nd and won a silver medal. We then found out that we would be representing Enfield at Crystal Palace in the London Youth Games later next month! Well done to Michael and his AMAZING team, Elifnaz, Cinara, Nicholas and Mohamed.


Panathlon Final  

We took our winning team along to the Burnt Oak Leisure Centre in Edgware for the Panathlon Finals, representing Enfield!. We all had a great time taking with smiley faces all round. Our team were scored on all their activities and we came runners up with the Silver medal. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and have asked if we can play some of the activities at school especially the parachute.


We took a team along to Lea Valley Athletics Centre for the Panathlon. Everyone had a great time taking part in lots of different sporty events - even Lorrie enjoyed herself! Our team were scored on all their activities and we WON again, coming back with ANOTHER GOLD MEDAL! Well done to all the children that took part, as you can see from the photos they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.


Dance Festival - 'World Class' at the Millfield Theatre
Every school performed a dance inspired by a country. Ours was Jamaica and we used the film 'Cool Runnings' as our inspiration. It told the story of Jamaica qualifying for the Winter Olympics in 1988. Our dance, to the soundtrack and a Bob Marley re-mix was full of energy and spirit. Well done to our 19 amazing dancers and to Aimee and Vicki for giving up lots of time to get them performance ready. We loved it!

Football League - WINNERS!
Congratulations to our football team and coach Adam for winning the football league for the second year running! They finished the season with a 3-0 win against Worcesters. Adam is impressed with how the boys have improved together as a team throughout the year.

Netball League
The netball league has come to an end. Well done to all of the girls who have come along regularly to practice - you have alot of potential so we hope you keep it up once you go to secondary school. The final matches were tough, and although we didn't win the girls didn't stop trying and that made us proud!


High5 Tournament
High5 is a fast-paced 5-a-side netball game for girls and boys. We took our enthusiastic team to the Enfield tournament at Latymer School and had an afternoon of matches against other schools. We enjoyed a few wins, a couple of draws and one or two losses. All in all a great afternoon - special mention to Mason for his positive attitude, 100% effort, and fantastic listening to his coaches!

Year 2 Multi-Skills Festival
We took 20 very enthusiastic Year 2s to a fun multi-skills festival at Lea Valley Athletics Centre. They tried lots of different activities that tested their agility, balance and co-ordination. The children all did their best and still had enough energy at the end of the afternoon to race around the blue track!

Tag Rugby League Matches
Our tag rugby team went back to Alma to play 4 more matches against other local schools. The results couldn't have been better - we won all of our matches and this means we have now qualified for the Enfield finals in March! Well done Leah, Poppy, Courtney, Eleanor, Jameel, Glody, Harry, Kaya and Bobby

Six a-side Football Tournament
dam took a team to this tournament at the new PowerLeague facility at Edmonton County School. The team did really well, reaching the semi-finals. Our player of the afternoon Bobby was amazing in goal (as usual). Well done boys: Nana, Shakane, Kaya, Bobby, Tyreece, Jamie and Ejsi. There are some great photos and videos on the website.


Boccia Tournament
We took a boys team and a girls team to the Enfield Schools inclusive Boccia Tournament. This is a great competition for children of all ages and abilities where aiming and accuracy is the name of the game! Our teams learnt alot during the morning and enjoyed seeing how much they had improved by the end of it.
Both teams experienced winning and losing and were praised for their positive, supportive behaviour.

Girls indoor Futsal tournament
Our Y4 and Y5 girls had a brilliant afternoon playing futsal against other teams. We were so impressed with their skills, effort and determination. They won 3 matches and lost just one, making them runners-up in their group and third overall. Well done to the team - Angel, Anita, Jessie, Ruby, Tofunmi, Tianne-Elise, Kyarnia


Panathlon Festive Fun
We took 2 teams to this event at Lea Valley Athletics Centre. Everyone had a brilliant time and took part in lots of different sporty games - the teachers loved it too! Our teams were scored on all of their activities and they came back with GOLD MEDALS because they WON! Some of the children will now be selected to go on and represent Enfield at another competition. Well done to all of the children who took part

Gymnastics Festival
Congratulations to our team of 15 gymnasts who took part in the Enfield Gymnastics Festival. They all remembered their sequences brilliantly with amazing body tension and flexibility, and performed some excellent jumps and vaults. A special well-done to our top scorers - Tyler, Sydney and Wendy

Our tag rugby team went to Alma School to play 3 matches against other local schools. They showed fantastic team spirit and fair play. Well done Leah, Poppy, Courtney, Eleanor, Jameel, Glody, Harry, Kaya and Bobby.

Borough Cross Country 'B' Competition
11 brave runners went to Forty Hall to run a cross country race against 10 other schools. Everyone tried their hardest in the  mud and long grass! Boys: James, Evandro, Johann, Jake, Barie, Re'yo, Melvelle  
Girls: Jodi, Jessie, Sophie, Chia, Fatma. A special mention to Evandro and Jodi for being the first home for Suffolks.


Borough Cross Country Competition
Well done to our runners! Boys: Gem, Nana, Charlie, Kenton, Hazaar: 24th with 235 points
Girls: Poppy, Nana, Wiktoria, Tayviah, Sarigul: 9th with 112 points.
A special mention to Poppy and Gem for being first home for Suffolks.

Borough Boys Football Tournament
The boys played 7 matches, with 6 wins and 1 draw which took them to the final - amazing!
In the final we unfortunately lost 2-0 to St Johns but were complemented on their great play by ex-Arsenal player Kanu.

Girls Football Tournament
For the first time Suffolks have started up a girls football club and entered a girls team into the Enfield Tournament. They drew two matches and lost three. Jon and Jemma kept the girls’ spirits up; it was a brilliant first experience for them and they can’t wait to play another match! Keep it up.
