@DogsTrustPR tweeted us!

On the 15th June Kelly Craig from the Dog's Trust visited Suffolks.  Her main purpose of coming to our school was to promote the amazing work the Dogs Trust do at rehoming dogs in need, but also to train our children on how to stay dog safe.  Her sessions looked in detail on how to effectively approach a dog and the dos and don'ts when it comes to coming into contact with them.  As the children have had this training Kelly P will be bringing her Cockerpoo dog Chevs in on Tuesday 7th July for the children to test out their new skills.  A permission letter will be sent to all parents beforehand. The children also made some amazing posters for the Dogs Trust to advertise their campaign to remind dog owners to pick up after their dogs.  Kelly Craig was really impressed with the posters the children made and even put the 2 winning entries on her Twitter feed.  Click on the pictures below to have a better look at them!

Congratulations to Sabriin and Caitlyn in Thyme class!
